Conference Details

"A new command I give you: Love one another.

As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

Chosen
Youth Ministry

Chosen is for young people who have been in Y7 to Y11, up to July 2015. All young people need to be registered and to complete a medical form on arrival with their parents.

This year's programme is a blend of teaching, discussion, activities and fun. Together we will be looking at issues which affect young Catholics today and exploring how we can develop and grow in our faith. The young people will be encouraged to develop and use their gifts and talents. The team all have experience in Catholic youth work.

We begin and end our days with all those at the Conference, starting with Praise and Worship in the morning and Mass at the end of the day. As many young people come with their families these collective acts of worship unity us and celebrates our unity in the Body of Christ.

Within the group a sense of community and family is created so that the young people bond with each other and enjoy the experience of being part of a safe environment.  This is important so that individually and collectively they can grow in understanding of  themselves and each other as children, loved and accepted by God our Father.

The Youth Leader is a professionally qualified youth worker with experience of both Christian, Voluntary and Statutory Youth Work.

Outside of scheduled sessions – a copy of which will be given to you at registration – the young people are the responsibility of their parents/guardians.

Consent needs to be given for photographs to be taken and used for our website.
